Unleashing Soulful Terroir:

A plain fields journey to colorful versatility

At the time, the field was little more than grazing land for summer cows. Tucked away just off the beaten track, it had a breathtaking view and an unmistakable sense of peace. It was the kind of place where dreams could take shape. And so, Dominik and Gareth started dreaming.

Gar, always one for big dreams and new challenges, was ready for a change. The thought of growing food—real, chemical-free, nourishing food—held an irresistible appeal. They packed up their curiosity and headed to Kenmare to learn the ropes of organic farming. With a vision in their hearts, they leveled the first patch of land, put up their first polytunnel, and set out on a journey of growth—both in the soil and in themselves.

But life, as it often does, had its own plans. Not long into their venture, Dom fell ill and passed away, leaving behind more than just an idea—he left a legacy. A farm needs more than one pair of hands, and as the seasons turned, I found myself stepping into the rhythm of digging, planting, seeding, and wheelbarrowing. Little by little, the farm became a reflection of all the hands that had worked it, a living tribute to Dom’s dream.

Yet, growing food was only one piece of the puzzle. From the very start, the vision extended beyond vegetables and harvests. The goal was to create a space where people—especially those with special needs—could connect with nature, find purpose in the soil, and experience the fulfillment that comes from working the land. In 2024, we took our first big step toward that vision by signing up for Social Farming.

Today,

this little farm is more than just a place where food grows—it’s a sanctuary of connection, learning, and soulful terroir. Every seed we plant carries the story of where we’ve been and the dreams of what’s yet to come. Whether you’re here for the fresh produce, the healing power of nature, or simply to witness a dream in motion, you’re part of this journey, too.

Welcome to our farm, where every row in the field has a story, and every harvest is a testament to resilience, passion, and purpose.
